Who Killed the Boy?
A question you should answer today, or else it will be too late.
“You’re a man now, you are not supposed to act in this way.”
This is what you will hear people say if you try to do things that a child does.
But when I was a child and used to play, nobody complained about it. They accepted my behaviour and even participated in it.
However, today, when I try to play with small toys, when I run behind a vehicle to test my speed, and when I jump in the rain and the mud, they laugh, but not the way they used to.
So what has changed?
Am I older, or have they just killed the child in themselves?
